System Requirements

XBubbles is native Cocoa application it requres MacOS X 10.0 or higher.

Public Score Table

Public score table is shared between all registered playes of XBubbles. Click “Enable Connection With Public Score Table” check box in XBubbles preferences to enter in the competition. You need an access to Internet for this feature to work. Once enabled “Public Score Table” will always display up to date information and your best scores will be automatically registered. No any personal information will be transfered (only your score, registration code and name you’ve entered in the “Game Over” dialog are required). You can disable connection with public score table anytime you like. You can also visit competition web page here.

Hints and Tips

• You can increase the number of balls which will appear every turn using the popup menu.
• Move the ball to outside of the game window and release mouse button if you want to interrupt the moving of that ball and choose another one.
• Use 'Restart' button to restart current game.
• You can turn sound off in "Preferences..." under "XBubbles" menu.
• "Public" score table is shared between all registered users of XBubbles. Your computer has to be on-line for this feature to work.

Version History

• XBubbles 1.3.1 - Japanese Localization.
• XBubbles 1.3 - Fixed bugs preventing XBubbles from running on MacOS X Tiger. Added "Gygantic" game field size (20 by 20). Minro code cleanup.
• XBubbles 1.2 - By numerous request minimum number of new balls is set to 3 instead of 5 and "Huge" game field size (15 by 15) was added. Minor performance improvements.
• XBubbles 1.1 - fixed disturbing problem when XBubbles (v1.0) sometimes hung in the very end of the game. Public score table now shows date of the score entries where available. Plus minor performance improvements.
• XBubbles 1.0 - first release.
